Join us for a camel ride across the Dubai desert and walk in the footsteps of many generations before you, learning about the critical role that the camel plays in the country’s cultural landscape.
Desert Experiences with Arabian Adventures
Authentic excursions
At Arabian Adventures, we pride ourselves on delivering desert experiences that truly capture the essence of the region. Our desert tours are designed by local experts, offering an immersive journey through the local culture, landscapes and traditions. Each of our experiences is crafted to provide an authentic and unforgettable encounter with the magic of the Dubai desert and heritage sites.
The Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve
The Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve (DDCR) is the stunning setting for many of our desert experiences and activities. This vast expanse of rolling red sand dunes covers an area of 225 square kilometres and is just a 45-minute drive from downtown Dubai. The striking landscapes of the DDCR are home to incredible native animals and plants, making it a fascinating destination.
Sustainable practices
Sustainability and eco-friendly practices are at the centre of our desert experiences. We run zero plastic initiatives, extensive quarterly clean-ups, and have placed recycling points throughout the DDCR. We have dedicated staff focusing on sustainability and animal welfare, and we were the UAE’s inaugural recipient of the prestigious Travelife Partner sustainability award.
