Why book marhaba Land and Leave?

The key benefit of marhaba Land and Leave is that you’ll be able to leave the airport far quicker, as you won’t need to wait for your checked baggage at the carousel.

How marhaba Land and Leave works

Are you wondering how the Land and Leave process works from start to finish?

Here’s a detailed summary of what you can expect when you choose this seamless marhaba service.

Share your baggage tag numbers with us

Once you’ve completed your marhaba Land and Leave booking – which is when you’ll tell us the number of bags you’d like picking up and where and when you’d like them delivered - your only remaining task will be a simple one.

You’ll just need to share your baggage tag numbers with us so we can identify your bags at the carousel.

When you drop your bags off at the check-in desk at your departure airport, you will receive a tag for each item – provide us with the numbers on each tag via email and our team will be on hand to pick them up when they arrive at your destination airport.

You leave the airport

After you land at DXB or DWC airport, you’ll simply have to leave the airport – there's nothing more for you to do other than complete the usual formalities like immigration. You can even speed this up by adding Meet & Greet to your booking.

You can walk straight past the baggage carousel and swiftly start the final leg of your journey to your home, hotel or office.

We collect your bags

While you’re well on your way to your final destination, our team will be waiting for your bags at the carousel.

We’ll collect each of your checked bags and clear them through Customs (subject to airport Customs acceptance), relieving you of a significant burden.

We deliver your bags

We’ll then load your bags into one of our dedicated marhaba vehicles and bring them to the agreed location & time when making your booking.

We’ll deliver your bags within six hours of your arrival, so you won’t have to wait long for any essentials.

Land and Leave bookings: all you need to know

There are several things you should consider when making a Land and Leave booking.

Airports where this service is available

The marhaba Land and Leave service is available for flights arriving at Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Dubai Al-Maktoum Airport (DWC), subject to terms and conditions.

The location where you request your bags to be delivered must be within 55km of your arrival airport.

Booking changes and cancellations

You can make changes and cancellations to your Land and Leave booking for free – as long as they are made at least four hours before the time of your booking.

Please contact us at +971 800 627 4222 or email marhaba@marhabaservices.com with your booking details and requested change.

If you have made a cancellation, your refund will be processed to your original payment card within 14 days.

Additional charges

In some cases, you’ll need to pay additional charges for your Land and Leave booking. These apply to bookings where:

  • You’re checking in five bags or more
  • You’re making a late booking (less than 10 hours before arrival)
  • Delivery of bags is requested for more than 24 hours after flight arrival

What’s not included in marhaba Land and Leave?

Transfers from the airport, fast-track through immigration and lounge access aren’t included as part of the Land and Leave service.

However, you can add these services to your booking to further streamline your departure from the airport.

If you want to streamline your departure from Dubai, you can book Check-in Anywhere – which will save you transporting your baggage to the airport and waiting at the check-in desks.

This is a separate service to Land and Leave but can also be added to your booking.

Who is marhaba Land and Leave best for?

Our Land and Leave service is suitable for a variety of travellers. Anyone who has felt the irritation of a long wait at the baggage carousel will appreciate a seamless exit from the airport.

It's great for business travellers, who may be on a strict schedule or simply want to minimise stress during a trip. We can deliver your bags to an office if required.

Families and large groups can benefit massively from this service too, as you’ll likely have several bags, which can lead to a longer wait at the carousel – not to mention the inconvenience of transporting them out the airport and to your home or hotel.

It's also popular with elderly people, who may struggle with lifting bags off the carousel and carrying them long distances. Booking Land and Leave means you’ll only have to worry about your small cabin bags, which are far more manageable.

In short, anyone travelling with checked baggage will feel a sense of freedom by using marhaba Land and Leave – it completely removes a dull arrival process from your journey and allows your trip to start sooner.

Book marhaba Land and Leave and enjoy a seamless, swift departure from the airport.
