Al Maktoum International Airport

Situated at the heart of Dubai World Central, Al Maktoum International is Dubai’s second airport, with both cargo and passenger volumes growing rapidly since their launches in 2010 and 2013 respectively. When works are complete, Al Maktoum International will be the world’s largest airport, with the capacity to handle 160 million passengers and 12 million tonnes of freight a year.

About Bahrain

The Kingdom of Bahrain is an archipelago of 33 islands. A popular holiday destination with a multicultural society, Bahrain features a cosmopolitan capital city, an attractive liberal lifestyle and a rich history and culture. Historic monuments such as the Al Khamis Mosque – dating back to 692 A.D. – contrast with one of the most modern Formula One race-tracks in the world at the Bahrain International Circuit.

By sea, you can sail, dolphin watch, fish, scuba dive or kite surf. On land, there are gyms, horse riding stables and sports clubs encompassing rugby, tennis, soccer, cricket and basketball. The Royal Golf Club, designed by international champion Colin Montgomerie, is particularly popular.

When it comes to sport, Bahrain's facilities are world-class. As the first Middle Eastern country to host a Grand Prix in 2004, Bahrain is the home of Formula One in the Gulf.

Bahrain International Airport

marhaba has grown beyond Dubai, with our first international venture at Bahrain International Airport in 2012. Featuring all the modern facilities you’d expect, this exciting airport will ultimately increase its capacity to 27 million travellers a year following completion of an ambitious expansion project spanning decades.
